My classes are usually one hundred percent focused on the needs of the student. I adapt to the age, way of learning, tastes and personality of each student. <\/strong> I consider this very important because only through what we like, we can use language. My classes focus a lot on conversation, dialogue and being able to feel comfortable speaking another language. <\/p>\n

I like to learn from my students and consider teaching a place where we all learn from each other. I have been inspired by pedagogues such as Paulo Freire who considered education as a continuous process of dialogue and transformation where both the student and the teacher build knowledge together. <\/p>\n

My goal is to prioritize my students’ ability to communicate in real and complex situations through natural dialogues. My role as a teacher is to accompany, guide and facilitate dialogue by putting the student as the main protagonist of learning. The student then becomes an agent who actively participates and reflects on his environment and the world. <\/p>\n

Critical thinking has been an essential tool for me and I always try to include it in my classes and at all ages. An invitation to think, question and see the world from other different perspectives that perhaps we had not seen. In turn, this is related to intercultural pedagogy in which we not only learn from English-speaking countries but also from the cultures present in our city, fostering curiosity and respect for other cultures and languages. <\/p>\n
